The Power of Peace Festival: Celebrating Global Mahatma Gandhi
28 to 29th October 2017 in Queensland, Australia

The Festival will commence with an Official Reception featuring a Forum over Dinner on “Peace, Nonviolence and Inclusiveness: Are Gandhi Values Relevant in 21st Century?” at the Queensland Art Gallery on Saturday 28 October 2017.  

The “Images of Truth” by Ishara Puppet Theatre will feature at this event.

The Forum will be represented in a Panel Discussion by distinguished speakers from diverse background including ethnicity, religion and gender from industry and academia in Australia and overseas.

The Panel members will share insights, discussion and deliberation on the relevance peace, nonviolence and inclusiveness to shape up a humanitarian society in the 21st Century.

Official Welcome, Forum & Dinner draft outline: 

Date and Time: Saturday 28 October, 4.30 pm to 8.10 pm 
Venue: Queensland Art Gallery at ​Gallery of Modern Art, South Bank, Brisbane
4.30 pm for 4.45 pm start – Guest Arrival, collect name batches 
4.45 to 5.15 pm – Guest networking over canapes and drinks 
4.15 pm – 5.25 pm – Usher to be seated 
5.25 – 5.40 pm – Welcome by MC and Key note speaker
5.45 pm to 7.45 pm – Forum begins with Panel Discussion, Debate Q&A 
7:45 pm – 8:10 pm – Images of Truth by Ishara Puppet Theatre 
8:10 – End of Session 
Dinner will be served during panel sessions

This is a paid event. The cost is $150 per person (gst included) , $1300 per table of 10 (gst included).
